Candice began her artistic journey began as a teenager by studying traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy. Since then, she has used art as a central focus of her experiences while traveling or living in diverse countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Her artistic vision starts with Impressionism and the practice of Plein Aire painting. Still, it infuses it with the looseness and spontaneity of Asian brushwork and the color vibrance of Southern Europe and South America. She believes that art can connect with a viewer’s soul and hopes that her paintings inspire positivity and a meaningful connection to the beauty world.
